Neighbors and Care — A Compassionate Bond
The no-profit organization Voisins et Soins helps ensure that, whenever desired and reasonably possible, people can remain at home—surrounded, supported and comforted—during serious illness or at the end of life. To do so, it brings together mixed teams of trained volunteers and dedicated healthcare professionals who support seriously ill individuals within their neighborhood or village, while also assisting their loved ones. Their work complements that of the existing medical care team. In France, up to 75% of people in need of palliative care risk not receiving adequate support. For this reason, ALTRAD Solidarity supports this innovative and complementary initiative. The Toulon branch, which we particularly support, accompanied 21 people at the end of life in 2025. During the year, the branch’s 24 volunteers carried out 473 home visits, while the healthcare team conducted 240 consultations and provided relief and psychological support to several family caregivers. Thanks to the psychologist, I began to understand that my mother was nearing the end of her life—a reality I had not been able to accept until then. Through their attentive presence with my mother, something very beautiful emerged: a deep, simple and genuine connection."

Orchestras in Schools !
The Orchestre à l’École association, as a national resource center, focuses its activities around four main areas: Supporting project leaders and funding instrument collections: the association assists and supports those who create and run school orchestras on a daily basis, providing guidance from the very beginning of the orchestra creation process. Pedagogical support for teachers: it provides instructors with a wide range of tools designed to enrich and support their teaching practices. Development and implementation of artistic and educational projects: these initiatives allow children and teaching teams to meet artists and perform in professional conditions, including in concert halls and other prestigious venues. Awareness-raising and advocacy with public decision-makers. Through the support of ALTRAD Solidarity, three schools located in the Gard, Vaucluse and Alpes-Maritimes departments were able either to renew their instrument collections or to create their own school orchestras. As a result, nearly 100 children in CE2, CM1 and CM2 from mixed to disadvantaged backgrounds have had the opportunity to discover music and experience its many benefits—educational, social, cultural and cognitive.

Challenge Accepted Alongside Action Education
For the second consecutive year, ALTRAD Solidarity organized a connected challenge to engage all subsidiaries of the ALTRAD Group in a collective effort supporting the association Action Education. For more than 40 years, Action Education has worked to guarantee access to free, high-quality and inclusive education for vulnerable and marginalized populations, particularly women and children. Operating in 16 countries across Africa, Asia and Europe, the association relies on trusted local partners to carry out initiatives focused on education and early childhood protection, increasing school attendance, and promoting access to lifelong learning. Over a period of 10 days, employees were invited to support the “Aakriti” project—literally meaning “Building the Future”—located in the state of Bihar in India. Bihar is the poorest state in India and has one of the lowest literacy rates in the country, especially among women (53%). Children from disadvantaged families face significant learning challenges due to limited access to early childhood education and a lack of parental involvement. In fact, only 50% of students regularly attend school. The “Aakriti” project works to remove these barriers by improving access to education from an early age through several key actions: Improving school readiness by strengthening preschool centers to facilitate the transition to primary school; Developing foundational reading and numeracy skills through adapted teaching methods and remedial classes; Training and supporting teachers in innovative pedagogical approaches to enhance the quality of education; Engaging parents and communities to encourage active participation in children’s education; Strengthening school governance through better-structured management committees and by promoting the role of women. Through its support and the strong mobilization of ALTRAD Group employees, ALTRAD Solidarity has helped nearly 12,000 children gain access to early childhood centers or schools, while also strengthening the capacities of 120 teachers and 35 educators. In addition, this initiative has funded libraries and computer classrooms in several schools. A big thank you to everyone involved. Together, we are building the paths of possibility.

4 Winners of the “Health” Call for Projects
Last September marked the close of the first health-focused call for projects launched by ALTRAD Solidarity. After reviewing the many proposals submitted by national and international associations, four projects were selected by the employee committee and the Board of Directors of ALTRAD Solidarity. Here is an overview of the winning organizations: For nearly 15 years, Imagine for Margo, created in tribute to Margo, has been mobilizing efforts for children and adolescents with cancer by funding fundamental, translational, and clinical research. To date, the organization has invested €28 million in 89 projects, directly benefiting more than 9,000 patients. Each year, 2,500 children, adolescents, and young adults are diagnosed with cancer. Among them, 500 die, and two-thirds of survivors suffer long-term side effects from their treatment into adulthood. Brain tumors are the second most common type of cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related death in children. High-grade forms, particularly diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG), are the most common, affecting 500 children in Europe each year.ALTRAD Solidarity is proud to support the BIOMEDE clinical trial, initiated in 2014, which marked a major breakthrough, as for the first time eight children with DIPG were cured. Furthermore, thanks to advanced genetic analysis, BIOMEDE has made it possible to identify all the factors involved in the disease and to open up promising new therapeutic avenues. Now considered a global reference, the trial has been extended to nine additional European countries. PHOCEO, the endowment fund of Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Marseille (AP-HM), was created in 2020 during the height of the health crisis. Its mission is to support AP-HM, its teams, and its patients in their projects, while also promoting training and research. To date, it has raised more than €7 million and funded nearly 160 projects.ALTRAD Solidarity is contributing to the acquisition of a particle accelerator combined with MRI technology to treat pediatric cancers. This revolutionary machine offers real hope for the hundred children treated each year. It will help reduce side effects and long-term complications, lower the risk of secondary cancers, and open up unprecedented research opportunities. Installed in the pediatric oncology department of Timone Hospital in Marseille, it is the first machine of its kind in France. The association Sourire à la Vie, based in Marseille, created the first recreational day center dedicated to children with illnesses. This innovative support model offers day-care “outpatient-style” programs that uniquely combine medical care with group physical activities. The program is complemented by creative workshops, leisure activities, and learning adapted to each child’s level. Each session is prepared and tailored to the age and situation of the young patient, under the supervision of a medical, caregiving, and educational team, in constant coordination with the hospital’s referring physician. The team includes a specialist in adapted physical activity, a pediatric oncologist, a pediatric nurse, a house manager, and several support care specialists depending on the daily program.ALTRAD Solidarity is very pleased to support more than 100 beneficiaries who take part in 84 day sessions at the Château Sourire in Marseille. Stay Close is an association based in Belgium that supports families of children with cancer by helping ease their daily lives. It organizes information and recruitment sessions for host families and offers an online support module for foster families and caregivers. The organization aims to support 300 families in 2026, increase this number to 1,000 within two years, and expand its activities to France and the Netherlands.ALTRAD Solidarity is pleased to support this initiative, which provides much-needed respite for families of hospitalized children, and looks forward to its future expansion.

Extracurricular Activities for Tunisian Schoolchildren
At the request of its Tunisian employees, ALTRAD Solidarity supported the initiative of the association Wallah We Can in Bizerte, where many schoolchildren have limited access to structured extracurricular activities. As part of this initiative, Wallah We Can established 12 thematic clubs within three primary schools labeled “Green School,” covering various fields such as sports, culture, choir and cinema, among others. The project aims to contribute to the social, educational and emotional development of 270 pupils through structured and inclusive extracurricular activities, while also strengthening the employability of 90 young facilitators. These initiatives have helped promote children’s well-being, strengthen group cohesion and support their personal development, while aligning with an educational and inclusive approach to leisure activities. In the long term, the association aims to expand these clubs to other schools while continuing to strengthen the quality of the activities offered.

A Safe Haven for Women
The Maison des Femmes at the Béziers Hospital Center aims to provide a unique space dedicated to welcoming and supporting women who are victims of sexual and/or domestic violence. It offers a comprehensive and multidisciplinary approach that includes medical care, psychological support, social assistance, and a range of complementary services (legal advice sessions, access to rights, sports, socio-aesthetic care, artistic activities, etc.) available to women and their children. Led by a team of committed professionals, the Delphine space provides simplified access to the sexual health center while facilitating coordination with external partners, including associations, law enforcement for filing complaints, the justice system (lawyers from the Béziers Bar), and public services such as France Travail and the CAF. Over the past year—and thanks in particular to the support provided by ALTRAD Solidarity—1,682 consultations have been carried out, including 193 involving minors. In addition, 42 group sessions on emotional, relational and sexual education have been organized in schools, and 223 women have received ongoing support. ALTRAD Solidarity is very proud to support this important and much-needed initiative.

Mid-April, the ALTRAD Group held its annual seminar at the Corum in Montpellier. The year 2025 marked the 40th anniversary of the Group, which was founded in Florensac in 1985. These four days were an opportunity to explore the themes of time and transmission, and also to bring together hundreds of employees to celebrate this special occasion. On the last day of the seminar, ALTRAD Solidarity had the pleasure and honour of presenting its activities and welcoming Mr Orso Chétochine, Chairman of the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association, to talk about the solidarity challenge for which the employees had rallied last December. For the first edition of this connected challenge, 1506 employees played the game of solidarity and covered almost 80 million steps. The five teams representing the five continents where the ALTRAD Group is present raised €120,000 for Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque so that ten children around the world can benefit from heart surgery. We would like to thank Orso Chétochine for coming to Montpellier, the Group's employees for their support and wish long life to Claude, aged 17, Djenabou, aged 13, Happy, aged 1, Mamadou, aged 8, Mouhalmadou, aged 10 months, Nagnouma, aged 1, Nissii, aged 1, Oumou, aged 18, Santatriniaina, aged 2 and Mariama, aged 1. The first Activity Report is finally available !
ALTRAD Solidarity is proud to present its first activity report, which outlines all the actions carried out during the year 2024. In this first full year of operation, no fewer than 24 projects were supported in the fields of Health and Education, along with 3 emergency relief efforts provided to international NGOs. Altogether, these initiatives have directly impacted more than 8,000 beneficiaries across the globe, particularly in the countries where the ALTRAD Group operates. Miroki : The Companion Robot Revolutionizing Pediatric Radiotherapy
For World Childhood Cancer Day, we had the honor of announcing that Miroki, the companion robot revolutionizing pediatric radiotherapy, will be arriving at the Institut du Cancer de Montpellier in April! ✨🚀 Developed by ICM and SIRIC Montpellier Cancer, this one-of-a-kind humanoid robot will support children during their radiotherapy sessions. Imagine: a 126 cm-tall friend, capable of moving, holding hands, speaking, and even mimicking facial expressions! Thanks to artificial intelligence, Miroki will provide invaluable emotional support and help make the treatment experience more positive. ❤️ This incredible project is a world first, and we hope it will transform pediatric radiotherapy care—first at ICM and then worldwide. Congratulations to all the teams making this breakthrough possible! ALTRAD Solidarity is extremely proud to be involved and to fully fund the entire scientific project over the coming years. Supporting Children Around the World
On December 5th, ALTRAD Solidarity launched its first connected challenge to engage all ALTRAD Group subsidiaries in a charitable initiative benefiting the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association. For ten days, employees were invited to participate in various activities that allowed them to earn points and, in doing so, save the hearts of children around the world. Using their pedometers, as well as completing photo and video challenges, our employees went above and beyond, making it possible to transform the lives of 10 children worldwide. These children, suffering from heart conditions, will have the opportunity to be sponsored by the association and benefit from comprehensive care, including transportation from their home country to France. Once in France, a host family will welcome the child and support them throughout their treatment journey. We warmly congratulate the 1,500 ALTRAD Group employees who mobilized for the Mécénat Chirurgie Cardiaque association. Through their efforts, they will significantly improve the lives of ten children awaiting surgeries that are otherwise unattainable in their home countries. Well done to all, and see you soon for more charitable actions!

Partnership for Humanitarian Emergency in Lebanon
Created in 1937 in the context of the Spanish Civil War, Plan International is an organization that works to advance the rights of girls, and more broadly of children and young people, as well as equality between girls and boys. The outbreak of violence in Lebanon has forced tens of thousands of Lebanese to flee their homes to seek refuge and has already claimed the lives of more than 100 children, which is why ALTRAD Solidarity wanted to engage with Plan International to respond to the most urgent needs and protect children and their families. In line with the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN-OCHA) preparedness plan, Plan International's response is guided by three major strategic objectives over a 12-month period: Basic assistance to ensure the basic needs of families Protection of children by providing psychosocial support Access to safe and quality education for children. By supporting the NGO Plan International France, ALTRAD Solidarity is making a concrete commitment to help children and families displaced by this crisis in Lebanon.

The Antoine Capitani endowment fund supports Domaine du Possible, an experimental, local, agroecological school located near Alès in the south of France. Based on curiosity and the joy of learning, encouraging independent research and an active learning experience, the Domaine du Possible school aims to give its students the ability to understand the meaning of what they are learning, to experience a strong relationship with the surrounding nature and to be supported in their uniqueness.ALTRAD Solidarity supports this initiative for a more supportive and inclusive school that breaks down the barriers that sometimes stand between young learners and knowledge.
